I figured why spend $90 on a new controller when these guys could fix my broken three. I asked how much it would cost and was quoted $20. Then $50 including the first $20 totaling $70. He used parts from one to fix the other two, meaning why was I payiing $50 then if these were my own parts? He then tried to only give me back two and keep $50 worth of parts from my third controller. He told me he fixed the issues and played two games to see if they worked. I get home excited to game and noticed he only fixed half the issues I had mentioned. If I was to take them back, no doubt he would ask for another $20 upfront plus more to supposedly fix them. You could end up spending hundreds of dollars at Gametronix and still not have your gear fixed, how else would he survive in this industry unless he scammed you as much as possible. I may have lost $70 but you lost dozens of customers.
